Keeping your love tank full

My good mate Orrin was in town from South Africa this past weekend and he was asking about a romantic restaurant recommendation for his wife Veronica for her birthday. Little did he know he'd get a whole experience out of it.. here's the sms I sent him;

From Hotel OMM..down the main street passeig de gracia to the end, with El Corte Ingles (large department store on you left) go into the "gothic" neighborhood straight ahead. This is an open area that has Maximo Dutti, Zara & other great shopping stores, so you may already be there or know it. Keep walking straight ahead and veer left at the fork in the road to reach the huge church at the open square. When you're in front of this church, off to the right there is a small walking street that runs along the right hand side of the church (church on your left now). As you follow this street, the church is on your left and in the alleys will be performing artists which are usually very romantic. As you progress further, you'll walk under an overpass linking 2 buildings, which gives you the feeling of Venice. Look up (especially on the right hand side) and see the gargoil statues in the buildings. At the end of this passage you come to a large open square, where there are government buildings. Take the 2nd street on your left, called carrer de juame l to the stop light. At the light, this is a main street called via laietana. You're almost there. In front of you is calle princesa, and off to a 7 o'clock direction/position is a walking street (hopefully lit up) called carrer de argenteria. Half way down the street on your left at number 37 is Senyor Parellada! Now if you've got time, walk past it and go to the end of that street where again there is a church on your left. If you continue past the church (keep it on your left) and go around it, when you turn left, you'll see a tall monument that has a lit torch on top. Look up at that, and tell her "it's an eternal flame, and that for as long as it burns, so will your love for her" ;-) if you don't have time before dinner, don't sweat it, the flame will still be there afterwards! ;-) cheers mate!
