Keeping your love tank full

If our moms were setting us up on a blind date, what three things would your mom tell mine about you?

Well my intention is simply to start a discussion and try to gain more knowledge about our respondents. This café has only recently open and we've only got a few lively ones "in the house". So please invite more of your friends to come in and pull up a seat (so to speak).

Far too often I have seen the breakdown of relationships because the man just didn't ask the simple questions about his partner. When I first started dating Maria, she openly invited me to seek to understand more about her personality from friends and family. I have fortunately always had a very good relationship with the mothers of my partners/girlfriends (well.. there was that one that just couldn't warm to me..) and through them I learned much about their daughters temperaments. This knwoledge then helped me to better understand, as well as deal with, situations that arose where I might have interpreted something less favorable about the way a woman was feeling toward me. Does that make sense?

As for me, my mom would tell you that I was very sensitive, respectful and loving. She'd probably tell you some funny stories as well, as she wouldn't stop after giving those 3 things, but we'll leave that for when she joins this platform.

So now that we've got the bonfire started ;-), anyone else want to chime in with some responses?
